More information about getting to Kew Gardens for people visiting as part of a group. Kew Gardens is located in south west London, about 10 miles from central London alongside the River Thames.

Directions

Kew Gardens is located on the A307 Kew Road and are well sign posted from the M4 and Richmond.

Coach information

If you are coming by coach, please note that Kew Gardens has no coach park. However, coach parking is free on Kew Road after 10am. If you do park on Kew Road please be aware that you are parking in a residential area and we would ask you not to leave your engine running out of consideration for local residents. On busy days Kew Road can fill with cars, so please download our coach parking advice sheet and pass this to your coach driver.

We offer free admission and a refreshment voucher for coach drivers.

Public transport

Or you can arrive by train, tube or boat...

Train: Kew Bridge station is 25 minutes from Waterloo in central London.

Tube: Kew Gardens station is on the District line from central London. The London Overground from north London also stops at Kew Gardens station.

Boat: During the spring and summer months Westminster Passenger Boats Association run a service from the Houses of Parliament to Kew Pier which takes about 1hr 45mins. Call +44 (0)20 7930 4721 (Westminster Pier) for information and current times.
