Kew education sessions

Inspire and engage learning with our hands-on programmes - it's the best way to get the most from your visit. All our education sessions meet curriculum targets across a range of subjects including science, geography, art, design technology and more. We can cater for different ages, abilities and learning needs.

Led by one of our skilled and knowledgeable teachers, the session includes:

  • hands-on curriculum-linked activities, led by a Kew Teacher
  • small group sizes (15 per group)
  • free access to Kew site for the day
  • a reservation in our indoor, schools-only area
  • a meet-and-greet at Victoria Gate
  • free entry for two teachers to plan their school visit


Our basic visit package includes:

New lunch space

We are excited to announce that from the 31 March 2014, our lunch space is changing. There is a new 'education groups only' external covered eating area, situated opposite Climbers and Creepers. Look out for our schools@kew flags to find us.

Handy Hints We recommend visiting the toilets opposite and washing hands before your timeslot. There are also hand sanitizers available.
