Enjoy a tour on the Kew Explorer land train

The Kew Explorer is a hop-on, hop-off land train which provides 40-minute tours of the Gardens with commentary. It operates daily (except in December and January when there is a revised timetable). Hop aboard to learn more about Kew's plants and trees, history, and our vital work.

By purchasing a ticket, you are helping to support Kew's work in saving the world's plants.

To purchase a ticket online, click on the date you wish to visit, then scroll down to Explorer tickets and select the number you would like to purchase.

More guided tours

We also offer free walking tours with our extremely knowledgeable volunteer guides, plus options for groups and individuals with particular needs. For example, we can provide tours for those with limited mobility, sight loss, learning disabilities, or deafness.
