About the Pavilion restaurant
With its gorgeous vine-sheltered terrace, the Pavilion really comes into its own in summer, although it’s a great place to re-energise in the spring and autumn too. We offer a variety of meals at the Pavilion, from freshly-prepared hot dishes to a well-stocked salad counter, the full range of Peyton and Byrne great British cakes and, best of all, superb terrace barbecues when the weather’s nice.
If the Pavilion really takes your fancy, it’s also available for private functions on summer evenings.
The Pavilion restaurant is open all weekend, weather permitting. Please check before you travel.
Inspired by the chillis growing in the Waterlily House, we have made our own Kew Chilli. Mild and sweet in flavour, we use a ginger, garlic and chilli base, some ripe plum tomato and finish with toasted coriander seeds and leaves.
All of our chicken is soaked in a herb brine, lightly poached, then barbecued and brushed with our Kew Chilli Sauce.
