Things to look out for

Keep a look out for these classic signs of autumn in your local area and capture them with your camera.

  • Fruits, nuts and seeds
  • Fungi growing in woodlands, gardens and parks
  • Spectacular beech trees turning yellow, gold and orange
  • Hedgerow harvests, such as blackberries, rose-hips, sloes, crab apples, elderberries and hawthorn berries
  • Horse chestnut trees and shiny brown conkers
