London Wedding Venue

Ideal for a ceremony and reception or a reception only venue, the main body of Cambridge Cottage consists of the Gallery and Drawing Rooms.

The Georgian Drawing Room is a beautiful, light room with paintings from Kew's historic collections. The Drawing Room is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships of up to 80 guests. This number also includes the wedding couple.

The adjoining Gallery houses botanical artwork on its walls and accommodates the same number for seated dining.

The Richmond Registry Office provides the registrars for your ceremony at Kew and must be booked directly by clients.

Please contact the Richmond Registry Office on 020 8940 2853 to enquire about the legal necessities required and registrar fees for a civil ceremony or civil partnership to take place at Kew. Please also call this number to provisionally book a registrar if you are holding a date for Cambridge Cottage.

Please be aware that Cambridge Cottage is only available for exclusive hire and is not available for hire at an hourly rate or at a discounted ceremony only fee.

Both the Drawing Room and Gallery open on to the picturesque, secluded Duke's Garden which is included in your exclusive hire space.

For a more informal gathering, Cambridge Cottage can accommodate up to 150 guests for a cocktail reception or fork buffet (standing).

The Cambridge Cottage lobby, entrance hall and Ante room provides additional space to receive guests and breakout areas.
