Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker was an eminent botanist, one of Victorian Britain's most important scientists, a close friend of Charles Darwin and a Director of Kew. To mark the 200 years since his birth, Kew is celebrating his life and work with a weekend of talks and activities for all the family.
