Dedicate a book in Kew's Library

Dedicating a book in Kew's library is a very special way to celebrate the life of a loved one or to remember a special anniversary or family event.

Kew's Library, Art & Archives is one of the most important botanical reference sources in the world. This extensive collection contains more than seven and a half million items, including books, illustrations, photographs, manuscripts and maps.

During the almost 160 years of the library's history (it came into being through the bequest of the library of William Arnold Bromfield in 1852), material has been acquired by gift, purchase and exchange. Over 90 languages are represented, making the library a global resource for plant science, research and conservation.

Your dedication

Your dedication will be added to Kew’s Commemorative Touchscreen Register and, where possible, a bookplate added to the sponsored book.

You will also be invited to visit the Library, Art & Archives at Kew Gardens, which is not normally open to the public, joining one of our exclusive behind the scenes tours.

Choose from our list of available books, or contact us to discuss a particular area of interest. Books are available to sponsor from £250. You may also like to see the list of botanic art items which are available for individual sponsorship, starting at £1,000.

Contact Jill Taylor by email or call 020 8332 3248 for more information.
