Dedicate a woodland area at Kew Gardens
Dedicating a woodland area is a very special way to celebrate the life of a loved one or to remember a special anniversary or family event.
Dedicating a woodland area will fund Kew's work in horticulture, and these woodland areas are available for a donation of £1,000. Your dedication will be recorded on the Commemorative Touchscreen Register in the Secluded Garden glasshouse at Kew Gardens, or Kew's Millennium Seed Bank at Wakehurst, and you will receive a personalised certificate detailing the area of woodland that you have dedicated.
Make a dedication today - download our commemorative giving form (pdf) or phone us on 0208 332 3200 (Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm) to make a donation by card.
Choose a woodland area at Kew Gardens
Located on the northern side of the Vista, is the Woodland Glade, where oaks, hornbeam and beech trees provide shade and protection for young maples. The underplanted shrubs, including rhododendrons, camellias, magnolias and choice plants like Calycanthus sinensis, provide colour in spring and summer.
On the southern side of Cedar Vista, about halfway between the Pagoda and River Thames, the Redwood Grove is a mature woodland and comprises a mix of coastal redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) and giant redwood (Sequoiadendron giganteum), planted around the 1860s.
