Sponsor a display of flowering bulbs at Wakehurst
Sponsoring one of Kew’s renowned bulb displays is a very special way to celebrate the life of a loved one or to remember a special anniversary or family event.
Some spectacular plantings are available for sponsorship. Choose from five stunning bulb displays, including the dazzling display of cyclamen at Wakehurst.
Your dedication will be recorded on the Commemorative Touchscreen Register in Kew's Millennium Seed Bank building at Wakehurst. You will also receive a personalised certificate detailing your chosen species. These bulb displays are available for sponsorship of £250 each and funds raised will be used for the planting and maintenance of the garden.

Choose a display of flowering bulbs
1. Snakes’ head fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris)
The snakes’ head fritillary carries nodding chequered bell-like flowers in purple and white; it is one of the UK’s most delicate wild flowers. This plant species flowers in April in the Bog Garden.
2. Crocus ‘Whitewell Purple’ (Crocus tommasinianus)
With lavender star shaped flowers and deep yellow stamens, crocus ‘Whitewell Purple’ flowers in late February and March on the banks of the Slips leading down to the Water Garden.
3. Cyclamen
There are two species of cyclamen planted beneath the oaks at Wakehurst; Cyclamen hederifolium flowers in the late summer months, and Cyclamen coum flowers late winter to early spring.
4. Wild daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus)
Commonly known as wild daffodils, with flowers of clear golden yellow, Narcissus pseudonarcissus flowers in February and March providing a wonderful spring vista from the Mansion lawns.
5. Common snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis)
The common snowdrop flowers in late January, heralding the end of winter. Planted beneath the oaks, they provide the perfect welcome to Wakehurst.
