Sponsoring a bench at Wakehurst is a special way to commemorate the life of a loved one or celebrate the birth of a child, a special anniversary, birthday or family event.

Each bench will display a plaque with your personal dedication.

Bench sponsorship is £5,000 per bench for a period of ten years. All benches are made by skilled craftsmen, and are built using high quality, long lasting, FSC certified hardwood to specially chosen designs. Each bench will display a plaque with your personal dedication.

There are two styles of benches available for sponsorship at Wakehurst. The first is a formal style bench that is available for placement in the more formal areas of the garden - for example the Mansion Pond, Iris Dell and the Himalayan Glade.

The second is a natural style designed exclusively for Wakehurst to enhance the natural areas including the woodlands, Westwood Lake, the Loder Valley Reserve and the UK Native Seed Hub.

There are also a limited number of Picnic Tables available for sponsorship - please contact us for details.

Your donation will be used to help support the work of Wakehurst, and create a lasting tribute to your loved one, while the bench you have sponsored will become an integral part of the landscape and will be seen and used by visitors from across the globe.
