Donate Kew is leading the quest to find plant-based solutions for people and our planet, but we need your help
Restoring the Temperate House Help us to save the world's largest surviving Victorian glasshouse
The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is one of the world's leading plant and fungal science and conservation organisations. Through our work we find plant-based solutions to global challenges such as biodiversity loss, food and water security, poverty, disease and changing climate. Our scientists are discovering new ways of using plants sustainably for the benefit of our people and our planet, while working hard to conserve and restore the world's habitats, particularly those most in danger.
This vital work would be impossible without the support of people like you, and there are many different ways that you can help.
Become a Friend of Kew
When you become a Friend of Kew or buy Kew membership as a gift, you are supporting our vital science and conservation work. Members enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the magnificent Gardens at Kew and Wakehurst throughout the year, as well as receiving a host of other benefits.
Adopt a seed
With four plant species at risk of extinction every day, it has never been more urgent to protect the endangered plants that may be key to our survival. By adopting a seed, you can help Kew's Millennium Seed Bank protect the future of the world's plants.
We receive around half our income from the government. However, without the generous donations of people and organisations, we would not be able to maintain our historic Gardens, buildings and glasshouses, or continue our vital science and convservation work.
