Seasons at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst Place
As the seasons change, so does the very nature of both Kew Gardens
and Wakehurst Place. In the grounds and in the glasshouses, thousands
of plants progress through their annual cycles, flowering, fruiting,
growing, resting. From bluebells to autumn colour; from native wildflowers
to exotic orchids, there are plants to be seen at their glorious
best all year long.
Please note that flowerings can vary by some three to four
weeks, depending on climatic conditions. Check the News pages to
see what's at its best and where it is.
Kew Gardens

With colour coming to leaves, to bark and to ripening berries;
with ornamental grasses at their best; and with Europe's finest

Winter
There's more to see in winter than many people think. Christmas
roses, snowdrops and winter-flowering clematis; wintersweet and
witch hazels with their heady scents - and tropic warmth in the
glasshouses.
