Horticultural taxonomy is the study of the identification, naming and classification of horticulturally important plant groups. Here at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew we are working on the following at present: Viburnum, Lavandula (lavender), Paeonia (peonies), and Galanthus (snowdrops).
