Taxonomic research on SE Asian Orchidaceae
Production surveys and inventories of orchid diversity, including checklists, revisions and floras. Contributing to accounts of comparative orchid biology and phylogeny, e.g. ‘Genera Orchidacearum’ project. Provision of IUCN Red List conservation status categories in publications. Advising Conventions and Policies team on CITES and HM Customs as appropriate. Dealing with miscellaneous taxonomic and horticultural enquiries. Overseeing general curation of Orchid Herbarium.
