Role
Monographic, floristic, phylogenetic, flower developmental and palynological studies in the Leguminosae and in Salvia (Labiatae).
Current projects include: taxonomic treatments of Salvia and several genera of the Leguminosae for ‘Flora Mesoamericana’, application of floral developmental, morphogical and pollen characters in phylogenetic reconstruction of the Leguminosae and monographic studies in the Pterocarpus- and Brownea-clades of Leguminosae.
