Curation of Orchidaceae herbarium material, including selection of specimens for loan to other institutions; preparation of specimens for inclusion in Herbarium and Spirit Collections and their incorporation into the collections; overseeing assisting visitors to the Herbarium; verification of living material from Central and South America; databasing and imaging of Monocot Herbarium specimens for the African Plants Initiative, of Orchidaceae specimens for outgoing requests from other institutions and associate researchers, and of Orchidaceae types and Lindley Herbarium. Undertaking botanical fieldwork in Australia and Indonesia.
