Note: Cabrera (1978: 140) was quite explicit about the distribution of this Gyptis. However, as noted for the preceeding species, King & Robinson (1987: 89) did not record the genus for Bolivia. Both species presence in Bolivia will need to be confirmed as well as the separation of the two.
