Role

Co-ordination and support to the Millennium Seed Bank Project international programme.

Overseeing implementation of Output 1 of the MSBP logframe, relating to international partnerships and developing a global network of seed banks. Development of new partnerships and collaborations including developing and monitoring Access and Benefit Sharing Agreements. Monitoring progress of established partnerships and collaborations against agreed targets. Tracking and advising on international initiatives including the CBD and GSPC and representing the MSBP at meetings related to these initiatives. Tracking other biodiversity conservation issues including ecological restoration and climate change mitigation, and developing MSBP contribution to these. Managing the MSB China Programme Officer and Seed Collector and their activities.
