Role
Seed collection and processing, training and support of MSBP partner institutions worldwide; species descriptions, identification tools, checklists, conservation assessments and vegetation monitoring.
Capacity-building of partner country projects at all levels from specimen collection in the field to processing of information from the Herbarium and Library to plan expeditions and target species. Seed-processing, data-handling and delivery of in-country technical support and training to enable MSBP partners to develop botanical skills to international standards. Personal interest in plant identification and specialisation on taxonomy of the genus Ilex.
