Role

A global overview of Habenariinae (Orchidoideae, Orchidaceae) using molecular phylogenetics.

Reconstructing a global pespective of the phylogenetic relationships amongst the genera included in Habenariinae, mostly using molecular techniques. Aiming for a better understanding of the relationships between the subtribes in Orchideae. Expanding the molecular phylogeny of the former Diseae started by Douzery et al. (1999). Adding material to the DNA databank and managing two DNA bank staff.
