Role
International seed collection and plant identification
Responsibilities involve identification of seed bank plant specimens, seed collection and collaboration with the Millennium Seed Bank Project (MSBP) partners. Has a background in plant ecology and environmental restoration, working in SE Asia and Central America. Recently, spent two years working on dry-forest restoration with small communities in Central America. Hopes to use knowledge of restoration ecology to the work with the MSBP, especially as the seed bank starts to develop in situ as well as ex situ conservation strategies.
