GIS projects and related research. Special interests in Remote Sensing, vegetation mapping and conservation assessments.
GIS and Remote sensing applications to conservation, environment and plant science. Presenting data and producing tools for conservation and environmental monitoring. Providing a GIS interface for conservation, taxonomy, systematics and phytogeography. Special interests are in: Vegetation mapping and area conservation assessments (Kew Key Measure 2d), using remote sensing and GIS techniques to give up-to-date and accurate vegetation mapping and temporal vegetation change (see Madagascar Vegetation Mapping Project)
