Seed Banking Technology

Seed banking at Kew has been underpinned by a strong science and technology programme for over thirty years and this investment paved the way for the success of the Millennium Seed Bank Partnership (MSBP).

Much of our work is aimed at developing new and improved seed banking practices. When a new method is validated and adopted at the Millennium Seed Bank we share this with our international partners through technology transfer and training.
