Phylogenetics and taxonomy of Salicaceae (syn. Flacourtiaceae) and Achariaceae sensu lato, species to family level, including comparative plant biology (e.g. revision of tribe Oncobeae/Lindackerieae) and baseline plant diversity research (e.g. family accounts for Kubitzki’s ‘Families and Genera of Vascular Plants’, World Checklist for Salicaceae s.l. (excluding Salix & Populus) and Achariaceae s.l. Co-owner and contributor to interactive key to genera of Euphorbiaceae s.l., Salicaceae s.l., and Achariaceae s.l., and Malpighiales Scratchpad. Gap-filling for Collections (Herbarium and DNA Bank) through liaison with Kew field workers and other institutes. Administrative support to Overseas Fieldwork Committee.
