Research on the family Cunoniaceae; plant identification and curation.
As an HRA with the SE Asian Team: taxonomy, morphology and reproductive biology of the Cunoniaceae in New Caledonia, and the relationship between this family and serpentine soils. Other research interests include the pollination of Mucuna (Leguminosae) in New Guinea, long-distance dispersal by ocean currents and the identification of drift fruits and seeds from New Guinea, and the evolution of bat pollination in pantropical genera including Parkia (Leguminosae).
