Editing the International Plant Names Index website
Adding data to and editing historic data on the ‘International Plant Names Index’ (IPNI) website with the help of two assistants. The data include new names of seed-bearing plants, ferns and fern allies plus details of authors’ names, a continuation of Brummitt & Powell, ‘Authors of Plant Names’ (1992). This also involves liaising with our IPNI collaborators at Harvard and Canberra and answering queries sent to IPNI editors, which may involve researching nomenclature of plant names from ‘Index Kewensis’ and downloading subsets of data.
