Re-organising the Herbarium to the new APG III linear sequence of plant classification.

Developing and implementing a plan to re-organise the Herbarium and Carpological specimens into APG III and the layout of people in relation to the collections they work on.

Updating of the Families and Genera database to reflect the new taxonomic system.

Organising the Kew Herbarium internship programme (6 week programme of preparation work or the re-organisation, lectures and family identification sorts).

Field research in West Africa: Large and small scale vegetation surveys
