Initial receipt and assessment of incoming seed bank collections, followed by the cleaning, x-raying, counting, banking and germination-testing of the received collections. If necessary, regeneration and harvesting of relevant collections is performed. All team germination test results are entered on to the Seed Bank Database. Cleaning undertaken by volunteers is organised and supervised as well as training visitors and new staff. Tours conducted and visitors hosted as part of the responsibilities as section Media Co-ordinator.
