Updating and maintenance of International Plant Names Index (IPNI), including nomenclatural and taxonomic research for checklists and nomenclatural advice.

Curation and research for the maintenance and improvement of nomenclatural and bibliographic records in the IPNI database. Research providing answers to a wide range of queries received by IPNI editors from users worldwide. Research into standardisation methods and provision of information relevant to technical developments and funding proposals. Advice on the use of plant names for checklists and other projects.
