Role

Assistance in herbarium curatorial duties (i.e. preparation of loans, laying away and re-disposition of collections within the systematic arrangement of the herbarium). As a trained lichen taxonomist, also deals with routine identifications of lichenised, lichenicolous fungi and other related ascomycetes, mainly pyrenomycetes. Working on lichens housed in the Economic Botany collections used for textile dyeing as a follow up to an external enquiry, and with Central European and Thai colleagues on the taxonomy of various facultatively lichenised and non-lichenised pyrenomycetes.
