Breathing Planet Programme Strategy 2 - Search and rescue
We are identifying plant and fungal species and regions of the world most at risk of losing their wild diversity, to enable priority setting for conservation programmes, with the application of cutting edge IT and GIS approaches where they can enhance this process.
This strategy analyses information from collections, publications and field observations to build up a picture of which plant species and which areas of the world are most in need of conservation action.
