Gilbertiodendron ogoouense complex - a revision. COMPLETED

A taxonomic study of a group of rare rainforest trees

The Gilbertiodendron ogoouense complex (Leguminosae; Caesalpinioideae) is a group of rainforest trees that may contain 10 species. A revision of the group is needed to identify one taxon from another. The taxa are found in Cameroon, Gabon and Congo, and several are rare and threatened by habitat loss, but accurate conservation assessment will only be possible once the species are scientifically delimited.
