My job involves curating dried specimens of Asian plants into the Herbarium, if necessary rearranging to new revisions, and whenever possible identifying and naming specimens, with the aim of continually maintaining and  improving the Herbarium collection and the content of datasets. 

I also provide research support within Kew and to visitors using the collections, dealing with loan and image requests maintaining, updating and adding to specimen digitisation.

I carry out teaching activities, science in garden activities and public engagement activities to contribute to science communication in the Garden.

My own research interests have been in the Lamiaceae family concentrating on work for Flora Malesiana.
