Griggs, Patricia J. [Pat]
Science Administrator (Education)
- BSc (2.1 Hons), Univ. Reading, 1982
- PhD, Univ. Aberdeen, 1987
My main responsibility is to support the wide range of educational and training activities within the Science Directorate. This involves working with the managers of short capacity-building courses and with colleagues co-ordinating Kew’s input into the new Plant and Fungal Taxonomy, Diversity and Conservation MSc, which is being developed in partnership with Queen Mary University of London. Through the Science in the Gardens group, I also participate in initiatives within the gardens and glasshouses to ensure that Kew’s visitors can learn more about Kew’s science and conservation activities through written and live interpretation.
