Role:

I am working on the evolution of the Eulophiinae subtribe (Cymbideae: Epidendroideae). For the past two years I have been funded by the Swiss Orchid Foundation to develop phylogenetic and taxonomic frameworks for this diverse group of orchids. I collected specimens in Madagascar and Zambia in 2013, and am currently investigating adaptations to dryland habitats in the terrestrial genera Eulophia and Oeceoclades.
