A Key to Pacific Grasses - June 2010
Kew Publishing, the publishing house of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, produces over 20 new titles each year, catering for diverse readerships, from scientists and academics to the general public of all ages. We aim to inspire and educate people about our work and to make available Kew’s unique heritage and resources, knowledge and cutting edge expertise to as wide an audience as possible throughout the world.
Our list of over 300 titles includes Kew Magazine for the general public, 3 scientific journals, floras, checklists, field guides, and illustrated botanical monographs. We cover many subjects in plant sciences and horticulture, including taxonomy, systematics, economic and ethnobotany, conservation and ecology, the history of botany and botanical art.
You can buy our books from the shops at Kew Gardens and Wakehurst Place, other good bookshops, and online at www.kewbooks.com.
We have recently changed our book-trade distribution arrangements; for the UK and other territories excluding USA, Canada and Mexico all trade order processing, customer service, warehousing and distribution functions are being handled by Marston Book Services Ltd. The University of Chicago Press manages our trade sales orders in North America and Mexico.
These new partnerships and operational arrangements ensure that our publications are easily available and accessible to global audiences. They support Kew’s role in sharing its resources and knowledge with the science and education community.
