It has been compiled by visual artist Rob Kesseler and seed scientist Dr Wolfgang Stuppy who lives in West Sussex. The full-colour photography and stunning scans acorss the 264-pages reveal a staggering range of the most exquisite beauty which has to be seen to be believed. Many of the seeds featured are from the vaults of Kew's £80 million international Millennium Seed Bank Project which is aiming to save the world's most endangered plants from extinction. Dr Stuppy has a deep-rooted passion for the astonishing diversity of seeds and fruits -- all the genetic information nature needs to produce the next generation of the plant, no matter how tiny that seed. Seeds may travel many thousands of miles, and wait for hundreds of years before germinating.
