Comparing this image with previous flowerings, this looks like it will be out in about 4-7 days. But with recent warm weather things have progressed quickly.

Wow! The hot weather has brought this on faster than usual and it now looks like it could even flower tonight as the spathe is just showing signs of unfurling.

As suspected the flower has started to open during the afternoon, and we would expect it to fully open overnight.

The flower has opened overnight and is now looking spectacular. We expect it will last through the day but gradually close up. It will still be well worth a visit over the weekend.
