Holly Walk

Holly Walk is truly a seasonal treat – burgeoning with berries and brightened by the autumnal delights of Crocus speciosum and the sunshine yellow of 250,000 Winter Aconites (Eranthis hyemalis).

Planted in 2004 by the Arboretum team, these hardy bulbs create a carpet of colour that will cheer any winter day and celebrate the coming of spring.

There are also the vivid Scilla near the Temperate House and the beautiful mixed bulb plantings near the Lilac Garden.
