Ornamentals

Ornamentals are plants that are grown primarily for their attractive appearance - but can be useful too!

A wide range of plants are cultivated as ornamentals in public parks, private gardens, glasshouses and along streets around the world. These are usually selected for their attractive appearance, but may also provide shade, attract wildlife, serve as a screen or as a barrier for example.

From the daffodils planted in the centre of a roundabout, to the rhododendrons providing a splash of colour at your local park and the glasshouses containing elaborate floral displays at your local botanic garden, ornamentals can be enjoyed by all.
