The Woodland Glade and Waterlily Pond
Situated at the south end of the Gardens, the Woodland Glade is
planted with giant redwoods and many other conifers. There are also
striking plantings of colourful summer and autumn shrubs.
The small Waterlily Pond on the edge of the Woodland Glade and
is best seen from May to September, with a host of waterlilies,
irises and other flowering marginal plants as well as a profusion
of aquatic life.
Visitors will often face a strutting bevy of Kew's peacocks, who
