Your donations can help Kew inspire visitors through our Gardens
A recent donation from a Kew supporter will give more of our visitors the chance to explore our beautiful Gardens.

Charlotte Wellburn of Kew presents the keys to our new mobility scooter to Mrs Danvers
Mrs J Danvers is a long-time member and supporter of Kew. Along with her niece, she is a keen visitor to the Gardens and, thanks to the mobility scooters we have available, they are able to explore the Gardens together, as they wish.
Exploring the Gardens independently
Mrs Danvers understands and values the independence that mobility scooters offer some visitors, which is why she made a donation to allow us to purchase a new mobility scooter. This decision has helped us to increase our fleet size, allowing more visitors to have access to this fantastic facility.
The donation was made in memory of Mrs Danvers’ late husband Harry, and we have added a plaque to the new scooter to mark this dedication.
How you can help
As well as a World Heritage Site with 250 years of history, Kew is also a world leading plant science and conservation organisation. Our scientific resources and expertise are focused on finding plant-based solutions to global challenges such as biodiversity loss, food and water security, poverty, disease and changing climate.
Our extraordinary and important work would be impossible without the support of people like you, which is why we have launched the Kew Fund. This annual fundraising campaign pools the collective force of thousands of individuals who each make a donation to support Kew's work, and enables them to make a big impact collectively.
Through the Kew Fund, we ask Friends and supporters of Kew to make a contribution to support our extraordinary institution. You can chose to donate to a specific area of our work, or make a gift to support the areas of our work where the need is greatest.
