Description:

Also called wood avens, this plant grows in hedges and woodlands. It has yellow five-petalled flowers and slightly hairy three-lobed leaves. The seeds are in a cluster, and each has a long hook. The hooks cling to animals' fur, or people's clothes, so the seeds are carried to new places.
