Description: |
Small birds that are very fast, agile fliers. They catch insects on the wing. The head, back and wings are dark glossy blue, the underparts are white, and the throat is red. The long tail is divided into two streamers. Swallows migrate to Britain in summer to breed, then fly back to Africa for winter. |
