Description: |
Although sometimes called the water rat, it looks very different from a rat. Its body is rounded and the fur is a rich brown. Its ears are small and almost hidden by fur. It has a blunt face and short furry tail. Water voles are a protected species, so their habitats must not be disturbed. |
