Description:

Wasps are flying insects that feed mainly on other insects, but also like to eat some things from plants (e.g. nectar). There are lots of types of wasps. The familiar common wasps are sociable, living in large groups in a nest. Digger wasps live in soil or rotting wood. Potter and mason wasps build small clay nests.
