Description:

the word 'bug' is often used for all insects, but scientifically, a bug is a type of insect with sucking mouthparts. Most bugs suck plant sap, but a few suck on the bodies of other insects or animals. In many species, the top wings are hard and colourful, but have a clear patch at the tip where the wings cross.
