Description: |
Reptiles are cold-blooded vertebrates (animals with backbones) with dry skin that is usually scaly. Most reptiles lay eggs that hatch into miniatures of the adult. Reptiles like warm weather, so in Britain we only have a few species. These include lizards, slow worm, grass snake and adder. |
