Description: |
Most living things can be divided into Plants, Animals and Fungi. (There are other groups for microscopic life forms.) Animals cannot make their own food. Instead they have to eat plants, or other things that have eaten plants. Animals can usually move (walk, crawl, fly, or swim) while plants are either rooted to the same spot, or if they float, they have no control over where they drift. The animals as a group includes birds, mammals, amphibians, insects and other invertebrates, and humans. |
